Aninag photographers in ‘Asian News in Pictures’ photo exhibit
Aninag photographers Estan Cabigas and Gigie Cruz are both part of the Asian Center for Journalism’s (ACFJ) touring exhibit entitled Asian News in Pictures. They join 16 other photographer-graduates of the Diploma in Photojournalism course that the center is offering.
The exhibit features six photo essays and 25 single pictures — all compelling news images taken by some of the most talented, audacious and passionate among the Diploma in Photojournalism graduates.
The show is a response to repeated calls for ACFJ to feature Asian photographers after it has successfully hosted the annual international World Press Photo Exhibition the last three years.
Estan’s work, Gagamboys is one of the photo essays presented. The first leg of the exhibit roadshow will run at the 3rd Level of The Block, SM North EDSA, from September 10 to 26. Check the ACFJ website for more info.
