ACFJ student’s photo works on exhibition in Cagayan de Oro City

Works of past students of the Asian Center for Journalism is currently on exhibit at 2nd level, East Wing, Limketkai Mall, Cagayan de Oro City:

Asian News in Pictures features six photo essays and 25 single pictures – all of them compelling news images of social and development issues and events done by some of the most talented, audacious and passionate among Asia’s contemporary and upcoming photojournalists. The pictures were culled from the works of the students of ACFJ’s photojournalism programs, many of whom among Asia’s most talented photojournalists.

The exhibition ends on 6 March 2011. Check the ACFJ website for more details.

A typical Middle class household can afford to hire a Household helper so that they can do the laundry, babysit and so on. In a third world country wherein documenting poverty is overrated, there is also a another seemingly interesting story in the society.
