Carla Mendoza

Carla Mendoza, is a freelance photographer who grew up in Quezon Province, Philippines. Her early days in photography started by assisting a Fashion Photographer. After being chosen to participate in the Angkor Photo Festival Workshop for Young Asian Photographers in 2008 in Siem Reap, Cambodia, she found her true calling, which is documentary photography.

Her latest work, Caugh in the Middle, was also presented at the Thursday award of the Fotopub Festival of documentary photography in Slovenia (July 2010).

She lives by the works of Andrea Star Reese and Eugene Richards.
