Cheryl Baldicantos

Cheryl Baldicantos, a.k.a. Chiloy, is a 24 year old and the only practicing female photojournalist in Cebu City. A cum laude AB Mass Communications graduate, she is currently enrolled in the Diploma in Photojournalism program at the Konrad Adenauer Asian Center for Journalism at the Ateneo de Manila University.

She used to be the official photographer of Cebu’s governor, Gov. Gwen Garcia before working for the Manila Bulletin and is concurrently the secretary of the Press Photographers of the Philippines – Cebu Chapter. For Cheryl, a lifetime is a billion photographs put together and one should travel, change scenes, make the pictures look beautiful.
