Kara Santos

Kara Santos is a freelance journalist and photographer. She formerly worked with Reuters before becoming a correspondent for an international news wire agency and consultant at ADB. Every now and then she finds time to write and shoot travel features for Sunday Inquirer Magazine and various travel and in-flight magazines. She has traveled around the Philippines from Sagada to Sulu, and through several countries from Jordan to India. She completed a diploma course in Photojournalism from the Konrad Adenauer Asian Center for Journalism (ACFJ) where she trained with some of the Philippines’ top media practitioners and photographers. She hopes someday of taking assignments for the Lonely Planet or National Geographic.
